NGO : Shanty Town connects with other projects
Last week, Ermine and Nari Norodom (Shanty Town Spirit) met with Michael Hansen (Koya project) and Tony Geeraerts (Little Hearts). The purpose of this meeting was to discuss about the possibilities of partnership between the three programs. Michael Hansel is actually implementing an aquaphonic project, the first of its kind in the kingdom. Two pilot unit have already been built in partnership with cambodian schools and michael hopes that the development of his project in Cambodia will dramatically improve access to food for poor communities.

Tony Geeraerts is the the director of the belgium NGO Little Hearts. He is also running the CAKE project, an initiative aimed at spreading awareness of proper garbage disposal, to educate people on the harmful effects polluting the waters and the cascading effect on the environment as well as the future generations of Cambodia.
