Shanty Town Spirit families meet with star model Monica Watkins
During the visit of members of the board of the New York based international NGO, beautyforfreedom, several art and photography workshops were proposed to several children and their parents in the poor communities of Boeng Trabbek in Phnom Penh. These workshop were organized with the guidance and devotion of US top model and philantropist Monica Watkins. These communities of Boeng Trabbek, supported by Ermine Norodom association Shanty Town Spirit, shelter several families who live in extremely dire conditions amongst giant heaps of trash overlooking a black sewer. Since the implementation of Shanty Town Spirit program by Ermine Norodom, their living conditions have improved and the program helps to educate, feed and clothe the local community's children and find job placement for the adults.

beautyforfreedom and Monica Watkins wish to deeply thank the founder of the Shanty Town Spirit Charity Ermine Norodom. beautyforfreedom was inspired by her commitment, love and amazing work and grateful Ermine Norodom who invited the team to teach and meet these families! Unfortunately, the beautiful people of Shanty Town face the threat to be evicted by the sewage company and put on the street in a few years...

''...beautyforfreedom has been so inspired by all of the students we taught in our workshop series in Phnom Penh, Cambodia this month and truly honored to be producing a series of fundraisers to help cultivate the incredible non-profits we partnered with during our project.
