Little Dalis has a chance to go back to school ~ Shanty Town Spirit Ermine Norodom Association

Dear little Suy Dalis is 13 years old. For one year now she hasn’t attended school.

Dalis was forced to drop out at Grade 5 as her careers no longer have enough money to send her to school.

Her parents have passed away and she now lives with her Uncle, Aunt and blind Great Grandmother.

Her uncle works hard in construction in order to support the family, however his pay is minimal and struggle to cover daily food and shelter costs. Her aunt is disabled and unable to work.

The good news is Shanty Town Spirit received some sponsorship money to send Dalis back to school.

She is so excited to have the chance to join her classmates again.

We plan to start her back at school next week and hope she can catch up on the year she has lost.

Although we have some money to pay for her tuition, she also needs a school uniform, books and supplies, transportation, daily lunch and funds for extra classes to bridge the gap of the year she lost.

Help us to help Dalis to complete her education and have a chance at transcending poverty.

After all education is the key.
