Solidarity - Housing : A Big Thank to Solidarity Trip NGO ~ Shanty Town Spirit Ermine Norodom Association

It's been three years now that Solidrity trip has been helping poor communities by financing new housing or buying materials to fix the houses. And Ermine Norodom is greatful for that, as some families of Shanty Town Spirit got benefit from the generosity of Solidarity Trip and allowed disavantaged families to get a more decent house.

As an example, Shanty Town Spirit and Solidarity Trip joined efforts in order to bring support to the Ang Family in the Village of Pre Thaco. This village used to be a big lake and all communities worked by cultivating morning glory. Then, the lake was filld up for a realestate program. Some families left the village but many off them still struggle to earn a living and hardly make enough money for their daily food.

The family has five children one teenager boy and four girls respectively 5, 8, 9 and 12 years old. The parents are both working the three girls go to school, another girl will start school next year and the teenage boy works to help his parents to provide for the whole family. In this family both husband and wife working in another lake and sometimes. when a truck come with some recycle they also collect it to make money.
